Mr. President:

    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 95, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 11, after the semicolon, insert "CREATING AN ADDITIONAL JUDGESHIP IN THE FIRST JUDICIAL DISTRICT;".

    2. On page 1, between lines 14 and 15, insert:

    "SECTION 1. Section 34-6-4 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1968, Chapter 69, Section 7, as amended) is amended to read:

    "34-6-4. JUDGES--FIRST JUDICIAL DISTRICT.--There shall be [ten] eleven district judges in the first judicial district."".

    3. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
